Yes, if you opt out of the touring activities to the Grand Canyon on the 2nd day of the tour, you will still be able to join the tour on the 3rd day to return to Los Angeles.

Q: Hi, I'm planning for a trip from LA to LV on June 20th. I have couple of questions that I want to ask: 1) How long does it take to go from the hotel to the Grand Canyon? And how long will we spend the time there? 2) In case we want to stay in LA on the 2nd day to go around LA instead going to the Grand Canyon, can we NOT go with the group on the 2nd day? 3) We want to take one 14-year-old and one 18-year-old on this trip, can they join us? The approximate amount of time from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon is 4.5 hours, depending on weather and traffic conditions on the day of the tour.
You will have approximately 3-4 hours of sightseeing opportunites in the Grand Canyon.
If you decide to stay at the hotel on day 2 of the tour, you will be in Las Vegas and not in Los Angeles.
Please leave a note in the comment section of your online reservation that you want to opt out of the Grand Canyon portion of the tour on day 2.
Yes, children can take this tour as long as an adult over 21 years of age is with them on the tour.
The 18-year old will need photo identification, as they are an adult.
The 14-year old will not need identification, as they are underage.

The admission cost of $89.00 is mandatory and must be paid on tour when you reach the Grand Canyon.
The entry fee is paid directly to the Native American reservation that owns and operated the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
If you opt out of the last day of the tour itinerary, there will be no discount on the tour package price.
In addition, please leave a note in the comment section of your online reservation that you will end the tour in Las Vegas.

The hotels used on tour are 3-3.5 star hotel accommodations.
If you make the reservation for 2 people online, then two people will share the hotel room while on tour.
However, the maximum in any room reservation is 4 people per room.

This tour only departs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We do not offer this tour departing on a Sunday.
We do not currently offer a tour that will depart during the days you would like it to that goes to Las Vegas.

We do not suggest our customers arrange flights prior to receiving tour departure confirmation.
Confirmation of tour departure usually takes 2-3 business days after you make your reservation online.
The actual arrival time into LAX on the first day of the tour needs to be between 8:30am- 10:30pm, if it is a domestic flight.
Your arrival flight must be between these complimentary pickup times and must be in Pacific Standard Time.
For the last day of the tour, please review the listed itinerary information regarding departure flights from LAX:
If you wish you to fly out of LAX airport on the same day, please book a US domestic flight after 9:30 p.m. and international flight after 10:30 p.m.
